I was lucky to grow up with photography all around me. My mother was a professional photographer and she taught me the basics. I learned lighting theory and darkroom techniques, and had a great time with my Kodak camera, shooting just about anything.

Career then got in the way, and I stopped taking pictures for many years. I became a computer professional and eventually was drawn to the new digital photography "revolution." In the past few years I've picked up where I left off, and have thoroughly enjoyed working as a landscape photographer. I explore magnificent destinations in the United States and abroad, and appreciate the chance to share them with others.
